Trey is a former Am Law 100 partner and chief legal executive with extensive experience supporting boards, investors, and executive leadership teams in the financial service, consumer service, government contracting, health care, energy and technology industries. His practice is primarily transactional, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and structured finance/securitization. Trey has considerable experience working with companies of all sizes, including early stage, pre-revenue ventures, well-established middle market enterprises, and Fortune 1000 companies, and is familiar with the issues confronting businesses at all stages of development. He is recognized for his judgment, independence, and strategic insight.

Trey lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, with his wife Dawn-Michele. He enjoys playing golf, cruising the Intercoastal Waterway, and traveling.
